Chair: Aluminium badge no. 6620753 for France & Son. Leather back in good condition, one light scratch. Arms has slight wear. Seat has no splits, old folds and creases, surface of the leather is worn, so finish now looks like an old Barbour jacket - sort of shiny-waxy looking. Frame no movement, really sturdy. No cracks or chips, just a few scuffs commensurate with age and use. The two hand rests, one at the end of each arm, the rosewood is darker and dull from use. Needs a thorough clean. Underside of seat is a little mouldy. Measurement 86cm wide x 70cm deep x 92cm high.
Stool: Aluminium badge for France & Son, no. 6649739 and gilt transfer FF mark. Leather quite worn, starting to show creases and dye rubbed away. Frame very sturdy. No chips, splits etc. No movement. Requires thorough clean. Measurement 63cm wide x 44cm deep x 38cm high.
