AN 18TH CENTURY WELSH FRUITWOOD STICK CHAIR, having a tapered indented panel, open arms, broad seat, on rounded legs

More Information

There is slight movement in three of the legs as the dowel is no longer tight in the seat.
Arms are original. The arm uprights we think are original but this is not entirely certain. They have discolouration at the top matching the arm terminals from hands over the years.
The seat has natural splits from age not damage and there are some small tacks holding one area in place. The back panel has a 13cm split or crack running down from the top rail.
Height from floor to top of seat: 45cm
General knocks and scars commensurate with age as you would expect.
